The Plenary Session of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference held an election meeting
On 5 November 2025, the Hungarian Rectors' Conference (HRC) held a plenary meeting to elect new officers, hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
At the plenary meeting, the members of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference elected Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, as co-chair. Given that the elected co-chair had previously held the position of vice-chair, the HRC Plenary also decided to elect a new vice-chair. The new vice-chair position will be filled by Dr. Zita Horváth, rector of the University of Miskolc.
The election of officers continued at the meeting of the HRC Model Changing Section. Dr. Tamás Sterbenz, rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science, was elected chair, Dr. Enikő Sepsi, rector of the University of Theatre and Film Arts, was elected co-chair, and Dr. György Szabó, rector of the University of Nyíregyháza, was elected as a delegate to the presidency.
