The Ecclesiastical Section of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference held an officer election meeting on April 21, 2026, at Milton Friedman University
The Religious Section of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference held its meeting on April 21, 2026, at Milton Friedman University. Prior to the program, participants visited the Óbuda Synagogue, where—on behalf of the university’s maintainer—they were introduced to the institution’s history and operations by Rabbi Slomó Köves, followed by a joint lunch.
The sectional meeting was opened by Dr. Krisztina Schottner, Rector of Milton Friedman University, who presented the university. She was followed by a welcome address from Dr. Géza Kuminetz, President of the Religious Section.
Dr. Zoltán Dubéczi, Secretary General of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference, provided an update on the organization’s current activities and ongoing programs.
The meeting also included elections: the Religious Section re-elected Sándor Enghy, Rector of the Sárospatak Reformed Theological University, as its delegate to the presidium of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference. His mandate runs for two years starting July 1, 2026.
