Debating Skills Project

In 2023, the MRK Connexus Mobility Foundation joined the “Debating Skills” debate competition project, jointly organised by CEPCEP (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and EFEE.

The debate competition is held for high school students and is preceded by a training program for teachers. During the national competition, the team that will represent Hungary in the finals in Brussels must be selected. The project aims to promote the use of debate as a pedagogical tool in public education and to develop students’ debating skills.

The Foundation joined the project as part of a consortium with the Association of Foundation and Private Schools (AME) and the Association of Training Schools.

The first teacher training sessions have already taken place in February and March, and prior to the English-language competition, we will host a professional development day in Hungarian, which will be held on the morning of May 25, 2024, at the Radnóti Miklós Training Elementary School and Training High School.
